UBB Pension Insurance is looking for an experienced and motivated professional for the position of Financial Control and Reporting Specialist in the Finance Directorate:
Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting;
• Previous experience in Financial Reporting/Accounting area will be considered an advantage;
•Proficiency in the use of MS Excel;
• Good command of English – both written and spoken;
• Communicative, analytical, adaptive person;
• Ability to recognize problems and to solve them;
• Customer focus;
• Able to meet strict deadlines;
• Attention to details;
• Well organised and self-disciplined;
• Planning ability.
Main Responsibilities:
• Daily and monthly control of accounting data – costs and income.
• Monthly, quarterly and annual reporting to the local Management and the Head office - Financial reporting, Management Reporting, Portfolio development and other financial/management reports.
• Preparation of reports and presentation for company’s management (local/group level) that reflect the company’s financial standing in accordance with the existing standards.
• Monthly preparation of the actual OPEX reporting and actual versus budget comparison including analysis of deviations.
• Monthly preparation of OPEX accruals in close cooperation with cost center owners. • Participation and support to the General ledger account management process – performing monthly checks of certain accounts, as well as participating in the annual checks of second-line account management.
• Providing support to the budgeting process in the company.
