Your right to privacy and data protection is important to UBB Pension Insurance.
On 25 May 2018, the implementation of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the General Data Protection Regulation, the "Regulation") began. The Regulation builds on the current data protection framework to enable individuals, the data subjects, to exercise more effective control over how their data is processed. As a personal data controller, UBB Pensions strives to ensure an adequate level of protection of its customers' data and to process it only for purposes and by means permitted by law.
Depending on the specific case, UBB Pensions processes (or may process) your data under the following conditions:
- the processing is necessary for the performance of UBB Pension Insurance's obligations under the insurance contract concluded with you;
- the processing is necessary to fulfil the requirements contained in the regulations;
- the processing is for the purpose of providing information on the basis of your explicit consent;
- one of the other conditions set out in Article 6(1) of the Regulation applies.
The applicable legislation obliges UBB Pensions to keep your data for the duration of the insurance relationship and for a period of 50 (fifty) years after its termination.
When processing your data, UBB Pensions strives to apply high security standards (meeting the requirements of ISO/IEC 27001), and only provides it to state authorities (within their powers) and to contractors of good repute.
Full details of how we handle your data and how you can exercise your rights under the Regulation are contained in the following document:
